FORMALITY: Because of the many themes and graphic options offered by Peter Tarolli to clients of his Signature Series, a pre-photography design session in the studio is included with his services. He will first plan the portrait around a formal or informal motif. This will dictate both the arrangement of elements within the frame, and usually the clothing styles that are chosen. You will learn how to prepare for each and how color works to strengthen features or unify the totality.

Depending on the theme and intent of your portrait,Tarolli will offer options regarding the use of studio or historically authentic and personal locations. Possessions and symbols that are integral to the theme & lives his clients are also reviewed for appropriateness. These and other considerations work together, beyond simply recording faces, to commemorating a lifestyle.

COLOR SCHEMES: In the pre-photography consultation the selection of a portrait color scheme is supported by your choice of clothing colors. Classic: Medium-dark cool & earthen hues. Mellow: Medium-light cool & earthen hues. Open Sky: Light white and cool pastels. Real Life: Considers the color themes of authentic locations.

ACTIONS: Before your sitting you should review the choices of portrait actions we offer. Traditional: Frontally directed flattering expressions from several symmetrical compositions. Commemorative: Interactive, reflective or intimate story telling moments that may also commemorate a particular season of life, personal accomplishment or a relationship.
